SUPERFOAM LTD DONATES MATTRESSES TO RUIRU POLICE STATION TOWARDS SUPPORTING HOMELESS CHILDREN LEFT AT THE STATION.

Infants and young children are left at the Ruiru Police Station by estranged parents often, the officers shelter the kids in the police station itself until they find a home for them. The time they spend at the police station is very traumatizing for these children.

Superfoam Ltd supports many initiatives that deal with children’s physical and mental growth across Kenya. Sleep is extremely critical for the healthy growth and development of children and if opportunities to quality sleep do not match a child’s needs, this impacts their overall growth.

“This year continues to be a challenge due to Covid- 19. We are trying to ensure that as a brand that manufactures quality mattresses we give back to society by providing mattresses to children that deserve quality sleep just like all of us.” Sanskrati Shetty , Head of MarketingSuperfoam Ltd.

“It has been quite a challenging time for everyone due to Covid- 19 infections. Young boys and girls have been dropped off at the station since their guardians cannot take care of them. Superfoam Ltd came through by donating mattresses to help these children have somewhere comfortable to sleep while we find a proper home for them. We thank superfoam for this kind gesture that will greatly contribute to the good physical and mental health of the kids.” Samuel Mwangi, OCS- Ruiru Police Station.
